Advices and Queries
When we feel separated from the Spirit, when we feel separated from each other, and from the earth and the universe of which we are a part we are living in sin (error).
Only when we feel separate from others can we hate them, kill them, oppress them, and discriminate against them. Only as we feel separate from the earth and all life on it can we go on destroying it.
from Bruce Birchard’s Pendle Hill Pamphlet
The Burning One-ness Binding Everything
How would my life be different if I were living in right relationship with all of Creation? What is standing in the way?

Heads Up!
Bellingham Friends are responsible for the program at Quarterly Meeting in Spring of 2013.
Our Annual Meeting Retreat is planned for the first Saturday in October.
Volunteer are needed! More later.
Eric Maya Joy’s recent talk was very inspirational
He began with:
We hear of and see climate crisis, environmental crisis, political crisis, economic crisis, etc. Underlying all of these is a spiritual (some prefer moral or ethical) crisis.
And continued with the following quotes:
A problem cannot be solved with the same consciousness (the same level of consciousness) that created it.
–Albert Einstein
The new age demands higher values. Those who spoke of peace were once called idealists, but in this nuclear age the idealists have become the
only realists. We have always thought of ourselves as having high ideals. Let us apply some of them in this crisis situation.
–Peace Pilgrim
You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one – I hope someday you’ll join us, and the world will live as one.
–John Lennon, from “Imagine”
